Brandy

Health

[YELLOW]Stray intake, yellow dot due to not knowing how to walk on leash, but no problem doing intake.Brandy's foster says she is shy/nervous as first but is continuously decompressing and warming up in her foster home. She prefers her crate and doesn't feel comfortable going on furniture yet. She loves her bone and toys. Shebx00s very treat motivated and loves pets, especially belly rubs. Shebx00s very good with cats had an interaction and seemed curious but unbothered.(no prey drive whatsoever).B She also doesnbx00t seem to be disturbed by noisy environments as long as she has her space to decompress. She really enjoys squeaky toys and can be vocal while playing.May initially be timid and fearful, adopter will need to give dog time and space to build confidence. Adopter should take care not to leave dog unattended or off leash in yard as she can jump or climb fences. This dog likely is a flight risk given her sensitive and fearful nature; adopter should take care not to leave open doors, gates, etc., to avoid this dog escaping. We highly recommend using a tracking device (e.g., AirTag, Fi or Tractive) on the collar for fearful dogs. Unknown how this dog will behave around children; respectful, dog savvy children 10+ may be okay. Younger children may not be a good fit given dog's timid and sensitive nature and typical puppy mouthiness.B Adopter must be prepared for the time, energy, patience and commitment needed to raise and train a puppy, and be prepared for the exercise and mental enrichment needed by this breed (husky mix). Adopter must be prepared for the time, energy, patience and commitment needed to raise and train a large breed puppy. Adopter must be physically capable of handling a strong large breed dog.[2026-09-27 18:33:00.000]
