Balto

Health

[GREEN]Stray, green dot on intake. Balto's foster reports he is extremely friendly, cuddly, and gets along great with their resident dogs. He learns quickly and picks up fast on what he should and shouldnbx00t do. He sleeps a lot (young puppy) but loves to play with toys when he is up. Friendly, playful, energetic puppy, will need continued appropriate socialization with new people, places and other animals, and positive reinforcement/rewards based training. Training should begin immediately before this puppy learns unwanted behaviors and becomes difficult to control. Dog savvy, respectful children 10+ may be okay; younger kids not recommended due to typical puppy mouthiness and sharp teeth. Adopter must be prepared for the time, energy, patience and commitment needed to raise and train a puppy, and be prepared for the exercise and mental enrichment needed by a growing large breed puppy. Adopter must be physically capable of handling a large, strong dog. [2026-09-27 18:18:00.000]
