[YELLOW]Background: Found wandering in neighborhood with another dog and both brought in to shelter. Injured eye observed at intake.B B Kennel presentation & leashing: approaches front of kennel, easy to leash up (some mild avoidance of leash loop), exits kennel with mild pulling. Pulls down the hall with some zagging, greeting humans in the hallways with sniffs, kisses, seeking pets.Engagement with handler in evaluation area: Explored the yard initially, walking the perimeter then approached handler seeking pets, offering a sit.Handling: Treat motivated, takes treats nicely. Mild interest in toys. Allows all pets all over, brushes against handler, leans in and sits at feet. Barrier reactive at fence/gate with other dogs passing by. Able to distract by calling her over. Friendly with new people, approaches, sits nicely for treats. Easy to return to kennel, mild resistance to exit once handler unleashes.Overall: Friendly, easy dog - would be green aside from barrier reactivity and leash reactivity observed. Very treat and handler motivated. With consistent training, reactivity could be managed.[2026-07-28 20:07:00.000]
