Around other dogs, the owner selected "growls" and "barks". Owner selected that this dog barks at strangers when they walk towards you or pass your home.Handling evaluation, using crew volunteer notes."Calm reserved kennel presentation. Accepts leash being draped over head but hesitant to exit her kennel until ward door is open to show her the way out. Walks cautiously/gently exiting building, looking around nervously. Pulls to the end of the leash while sniffing and exploring outside, leading to fences to look off into distance, possibly owner searching. Does not eliminate at all, clean kennel inside. Begins approaching handler while walking around opting for immediate proximity. Leans into handler's legs when standing still, leaning in while observing surroundings. Orient towards handler when kneeling to her level and is soft and accepting of pets and affection. No interest in treat offerings at all outside, worried and environmentally, unsure. Skitters back through gauntlet and pulls mildly back through building. Follows handler back in kennel and quickly turns to come back out. Presses into handler while accepting pets during leash removal. Shows motivation to come back out while closing door."Yellow.[2026-08-18 17:48:00.000]
